After the disruption of in-person events in 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic, conference organizers are hoping to get their operations back to normal in 2022, but most conferences are including an online component, too. A virtual component can broaden an event's audience and act as a hedge during uncertain times.

Still, there's no substitute for attending a conference in-person. The fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and related domains are constantly developing. Conferences are a great way to keep pace with those developments—and also see what might be just around the corner. A conference also gives you an opportunity to network with peers and industry experts.

Scale Exchange gathered the top events in AI and ML in 2022. The forums are organized into eight categories—AI, computer vision, data science and management, industry, machine learning, natural language, neural networks, and robotics. Within each category, events are listed chronologically.

Whether you are looking to sharpen old skills or acquire new ones through workshops and tutorials, here are the top conferences of 2022.
