About Vijay Karunamurthy
Vijay Karunamurthy is the field Chief Technology Officer at Scale AI, where he works to democratize the capabilities of Generative AI and Large Language Models, partnering with large model providers, governments, and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Scale, Vijay was a Director of Engineering at Apple and Google, where he worked on applications of AI for personalizing content and user experiences. Vijay was an early employee at YouTube (prior to the acquisition by Google), and led Search and Discovery of videos. He also led a startup focused on Machine Learning for live video (acquired by Apple.)
About Raghvender Arni
Raghvender Arni (Arni) leads the Customer Acceleration Team (CAT) within AWS Industries. The CAT team is a global cross functional team of customer facing cloud architects, software engineers, data scientists, AI/ML experts & designers that drives innovation via advanced prototyping, drives cloud adoption via specialized technical expertise and drives talent development by working closely with early career and university talent. CAT works with AWS’ top 300+ customers across multiple industry verticals and has been leading innovation in AI/ML including Generative AI, IOT, Robotics, Spatial and advanced data & computing technologies. Arni is also the single threaded leader for Generative AI across AWS Industries, driving industry use cases, application architecture & patterns and working with service team in driving the AWS Generative AI roadmap.
Prior to AWS, Arni led a global team of technologists at Pivotal (acquired by VMWare) driving digital transformation for some of the largest Global 2000 companies. He began his career at Bell Labs Research after graduate studies in Computer Engineering and has been a founder, engineering leader, product and GTM leader.
